As seen by your correspondent over the weekend.
Fiat Ritmo, surprisingly not rotten away. Bonus Land Rover
Alfa Giulietta, ditto
Celica GT Four. Bonus Toyota Starlet to its right
A reaper and binder, reaping and binding
Nissan Laurel (2.4 manual) with posh headlight wipers
Two American things. One’s an International something or other, don’t know what the car is
Something of a Princely persuasion. In NSU circles there are seemingly bragging rights if you have two rather than one exhaust pipe. This has two. The owner was pontificating on the subject. Bonus Saab V4.
A Lanz Bulldog. Lanz were bought by Deere in the 1950s and their factory in Mannheim supplies many John Deere models here

That would be a pontiac firebird next to that truck that someone has tried to dress up as a trans am.

Point of fact: that International is actually very rusty regardless of how it looks.

Love that Saab 95 next to the NSU, but I’m partial to Saabs to begin with...

God made it that way.

I’m reminded how ugly a Pontiac Firebird is without a hood scoop.

God and International Harvester said let it be rusty. And it was so; and, God and International Harvester saw that it was good.

I can’t decide if I like or hate the quad headlight look Ritmo. It definitely needs circular door handles, I know that. I love the little Prinz. I’ve always wanted one of those cars.

It probably was on Oppo that I read it-but there’s actually some truth to that. How lack of paint (primer?) or prep had the body panels rusting before they were even bolted together.

It is because International purchased a large quantity of steel that was left outside prior to being used in manufacturing their vehicles if I recall correctly.
